our children's program

Sprouts is our children's program held during school terms at the 10:30am Family Service on Sunday's. Lead by Clare Hilder, the program aims to be fun, engaging and inclusive of different learning styles and abilities.

While set up for children ages 5-12, all ages are welcome and parents are welcome to join their children as well. And children are more than welcome to stay in church with their families if they want, whatever suits you best.

Typically the program will involve a short video from the Biggest Story curriculum (more info below), a game or activity and a craft, with a small snack provided.

our curriculum

We are currently following the Biggest Story online curriculum. The Biggest Story leads learners on an exciting journey through the Bible, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. This fun curriculum based on the book "The Biggest Story" draws kids into Scripture and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption.

our space

Our Sprouts Children's Program has its own room dedicated to children. With many colourful visuals added by Clare throughout the year, the space is warm and welcoming for children. There is a small sunroom attached, suitable under 5's to explore and play, or it can be used for those who need a bit of quiet space. Our room is located near the kitchen and toilets are easily accessible.

Clare is an imaginative and loving leader who thrives on helping children discover the joy of a relationship with God. With her warm smile and creative teaching methods, Clare makes every Sunday an exciting journey into the Bible. Her heart for ministry shines through as she patiently nurtures each child's understanding of faith, helping them apply Christian faith to their everyday lives.

We are privileged to have so many helpers assisting Clare with the children's program every Sunday during school terms. Our helpers are members of the church, both parents and youth are involved in the discipling of our young children.
